Eva Marie Issues Statement On WWE Suspension

As noted, Eva Marie was suspended for 30 days after violating the WWE Wellness Policy for the first time. It was later reported by TMZ that she tested positive for Adderall, the same substance that Roman Reigns recently tested positive for. Eva told TMZ that she was planning on appealing the suspension and that her prescription was from her legitimate doctor.

She took to Twitter tonight and posted this statement on Instagram:

"I am disappointed that this suspension has occurred, yet understand and respect that WWE upholds their Wellness Policy to the letter and won't compromise on its integrity.

I violated policy by not turning in portions of required paperwork in the time frame WWE Medical deemed timely. I look forward to my return! Thank you for your support."
