Pat Patterson On If Roman Reigns Hurt His Career With Wellness Violation, Vince McMahon Retiring

Newsweek recently interviewed WWE Hall of Famer Pat Patterson, who was promoting his new autobiography, Accepted: How the First Gay Superstar Changed WWE. Below are a couple of highlights:

If Roman Reigns recent WWE Wellness Policy violation will hurt his career:

"No, I don't think so. Everybody makes mistakes one time or another. We all do stupid things at one time or another. We have to be smart? when you're young you don't know anything. I think he'll be alright."

If he ever sees Vince McMahon retiring:

"Never. [Laughs] There was a convention for workaholics in Chicago once and I said to Vince: 'You should go there.' You know what happened? No-one showed up? they were all too busy working."

Patterson also discussed the Montreal Screwjob, The Rock inviting him to his first movie premiere, how tolerance and acceptance has evolved in pro wrestling and more. You can read the full interview by clicking here.
