- As seen on tonight's WWE SmackDown, Carmella destroyed Nikki Bella before their match could begin. The unofficially retired Brie Bella tweeted the following, which had some speculating that she was teasing a return:

- As noted, Finn Balor underwent shoulder surgery earlier today after suffering an injury at the hands of Seth Rollins during their WWE Universal Title match at SummerSlam. WWE still has not updated Balor's condition but he tweeted this post-surgery photo:
