Seth Rollins On Brock Lesnar's USADA Violation, Goldberg Being Past His Prime, Conor McGregor, UFC

As noted, Seth Rollins appeared on ESPN's First Take to promote WWE SummerSlam. See above for the video.

In addition to discussing his match with the Demon King Finn Balor at SummerSlam, Rollins discussed Conor McGregor's shot at the WWE, the wellness policy, Brock Lesnar, Goldberg, and much more.

Host of First Take Molly Qerim wastes no time and immediately starts the segment bringing up Conor McGregor's negative comments about the WWE locker room. Rollins retorts he has been trying to stay quiet on the manner because he knows Conor is being Conor in promoting himself. Rollins does not want to feed into the situation. Rollins takes a subtle shot, comparing how he dresses to McGregor and then asking who the real dweeb is.

On the topic of the UFC, Rollins was asked about Brock Lesnar failing their drug test and then not being suspended by the WWE.

"I don't know what the UFC punishment is for what he is going to be doing, or what he failed for. And I don't know what it's going to be as it pertains to the WWE, that's TBD for the moment." Rollins says he is only worried about himself, specifically with staying healthy.

Rollins defends the WWE Wellness Policy saying the WWE wants to take care of everyone. Rollins says he has no problem with the policy and never has failed a test.

In referencing past WWE superstars, First Take's Stephen A. Smith brings up Goldberg, whom Rollins says he would fight any day of the week at any time.

"I am a young buck, I am a young stallion. No offense to Goldberg but his day has come and gone."

Rollins continues to defend his claim, stating, "Goldberg's past his prime and he can't hang with me. Bottom line. That's what I am saying." Rollins also says Goldberg is too scared to come out of retirement and fight him.
