WWE Backlash Logo Changed, Who Is Missing SmackDown?, Steve Austin - Dean Ambrose Dramatization

- Dean Ambrose appeared on The Steve Austin Podcast last night, and the interview appeared to get tense at times. Ambrose at one point remarked that "this is an intense interview," and admitted to getting offended at the end on the podcast when Austin challenged him to not rest on his laurels. Wrestling Inc. reader Pete Gerber passed along an amusing fan-edited dramatization of the interview, which you can watch above. You can read our recap of the podcast here.

- As noted, WWE stars are headed overseas for the WWE tours in Australia and New Zealand this week. SmackDown stars John Cena, AJ Styles, Erick Rowan, The Usos and Apollo Crews are scheduled for the tour, so they won't be on tonight's episode of SmackDown live.

- Just a reminder that Styles will be making an appearance in Auckland, New Zealand on Wednesday at Westfield St Lukes at 80 St Lukes Rd. Styles will be meeting fans and signing autographs. You can get more details here.

- WWE uploaded a promo for WWE Backlash on their website at this link, which is the first SmackDown branded pay-per-view since the draft last month. The trailer features a new logo for the event at the 0:27 mark, which you can check out below:

In case you missed the old logo, it is below:
