WWE CWC Results (8/3): Gargano Vs. Ciampa, NXT Star Advances, Jack Gallagher And Noam Dar In Action

Welcome to tonight's CWC coverage. We take a look back at last week's episode and this week's match-ups. Looks to be another fun show. Mauro Ranallo and Daniel Bryan welcome us to this evening's events. They send it over to Corey Graves in the CWC Control Room as we look at our first match.

Rich Swann vs. Jason Lee

The ring announcer reminds us of the 20-minute time limit. Lee makes his entrance, nun-chucks in tow and wows the crowd. Rich Swann with the huge pop as he dances his way to the ring. Lee does not seem extremely entertained. The theme song continues as the bell rings and turns into "All Night Long." They trade holds and have a standoff. Lee swings and misses and Swann nails a drop kick for a one count. Lee with some Bruce Lee-like chops and strikes to take advantage. Swann didn't take lightly to a slap and hits Lee with several clubbing fists. Swann lands an acrobatic jumping hurricanrana. More back and forth action mounting to a roundhouse kick from Swann. Swann with a very impressive standing 450 splash for the three and the win.

We go straight into the next match.

Noam Dar vs. Gurv Sihra

The young Dar enters with some pretty unique trunks and jacket. Sihra Bollywoods his way to the ring. Friendly handshake gets us started. They trade waist locks to get started and Dar takes out the knee of Sihra. Side headlock takeover by Sirha baiting him with the Bollywood camera. Dar catches Sihra with a single leg drop kick but doesn't capitalize with a cover. Sihra goes for a kick but gets caught in the ropes. Dar sweeps the legs again as both men go down. Big running elbow to the corner from Dar and follows it up with a drop kick to the side of the head. Sihra counters with a double leg takedown and goes for a submission but is denied. Dar takes advantage with drop kicks to the corner. Sihra regains the edge and fails on a series of covers. Goes for a flying elbow but comes up empty. Dar hits a fishermen's buster. Dar locks in a knee bar on Sihra and The Bollywood Boy has to tap.

Winner via Submission: Noam Dar

Fabian Aichner vs. Jack Gallagher

Gallagher with quite the unique look and presence that will easily get over at Full Sail. The Italian strongman Aichner makes his way to the ring with a distinct power advantage as compared to Gallagher's technical prowess. A gentlemanly handshake and we are off. Aichner with fantastic maneuverability as he counters early submissions. He finishes the sequence off with a handstand and turns Gallagher inside out. Not to be outdone, Gallagher slinks into control as the crowd appreciates the showmanship. What a fun exchange. No more fun and games from Aichner as he hits a kick to the midsection and follows it up with some big shoulder tackles. Gallagher reverses again but not for long. Aichner gets a piece of a springboard drop kick, but slipped slightly on the jump. Charles Robinson gets a workout with several back-to-back covers from both men. Big tilt-a-whirl back breaker from Aichner to create some space. Aichner surprisingly hits a fantastic double springboard moonsault for a two! Gallagher slips out of a suplex and hits two drop kicks and Aichner is still on his feet. A crossbody takes the bigger man down. Gallagher locks in a guillotine but Aichner able to flip him over into a sit-out powerbomb for a two! Aichner beside himself and turns to the ground game to keep the gentleman down. Aichner goes for a frog splash but nobody home. Gallagher goes for a headbutt and sets Aichner up in the corner for a heavy footed drop kick in the corner that makes Daniel Bryan jealous. One, two, and three. Gallagher wins! What a fun match.

Tomasso Ciampa vs. Johnny Gargano

To make this one feel a bit more special, we head backstage for an interview with both men. Good reactions for both men. Big fight feel for this one. Hesitant but friendly handshake to get us started. Gargano staying on top of Ciampa early with a good deal of technical maneuvers and deep arm drags. Ciampa evens the odds with one clean and stiff back elbow. Yikes. A second elbow sends Gargano outside. Ciampa joins him and delivers a resounding chop. Ciampa sets up Gargano on the apron and hits a big running knee. He returns inside for the cover for a two. Are we in Japan? These strikes are landing flush. Ciampa gets hung up in the corner and Gargano lands a kick to the head. Gargano with a jumping DDT for a two. Ciampa climbs the ropes with Gargano but Johnny Wrestling slips out and misses a sunset flip. No worries for Gargano as he hits a kick to the head of Ciampa whose head is stuck in the ropes and follows it up with a power bomb. Suicide dive from Gargano that lands clean. They re-enter the ring but Ciampa nails Gargano with a knee as he dives through the second rope. Ciampa goes for a slam but Gargano denies it. Strikes from Ciampa but Gargano slips out and hits kick. Both men on the apron and trade blows on the hardest part of the ring. Chops to the throat from Gargano. Ciampa picks him up for a slam on the apron. Ciampa quickly rolls him back him for a two and a half. Ciampa unveils the knee but hesitates. Gargano takes advantage with a superkick. Huge strikes and ends with a backstabber from Ciampa. Another near fall! A "this is awesome" chant from the Full Sail crowd. Indeed it is. The crowd is on their feet. A chop straight to the face of Gargano from Ciampa. More stiff strikes and a series of pins. Gargano rolls Ciampa up with the Crucifix cover for the three and victory. What a match!

Winner via Pinfall: Johnny Gargano

Gargano goes for a handshake, but Ciampa refuses and heads out of the ring. Having second thoughts, Ciampa heads back in the ring and takes a seat beside his tag team partner and gives him a hug. Nice little way to end a great match.
