- In the video above, former UFC light heavyweight champion – and TNA star – Quinton "Rampage" Jackson talks to TMZ Sports about a possible fight with Brock Lesnar. Rampage says that he would fight Lesnar and that he'd "whoop Lesnar's ass." He noted that Lesnar is a great athlete and he respects him, but doesn't think that he can take him down.
- The UFC announced tonight that UFC lightweight champion Eddie Alvarez will defend his title against UFC featherweight champion Conor McGregor in the main event of UFC 205 on November 12th. The event is the promotion's debut at Madison Square Garden in New York.
McGregor was originally slated to challenge Rafael dos Anjos for the UFC Lightweight Championship at UFC 196 this past March, however dos Anjos was forced to withdraw less than two weeks before the fight after breaking his foot. McGregor instead faced Nate Diaz in a welterweight (170 lbs.) bout, which Diaz won via second round submission. McGregor's last fight saw him avenge that loss as he defeated Diaz via unanimous decision at UFC 202 last month.
