Man Dies After Suffering "Medical Emergency" At Seth Rollins' Wrestling Academy
ABC affiliate WKBW out of Buffalo, NY is reporting that 20-year-old Jonah Snyder died after suffering "a medical emergency" last Thursday at the Black and Brave Wrestling Academy in Moline, IL. The academy is run by Seth Rollins and Marek Brave.
According to the coroner's report, Snyder was training at the academy with eight other people when he felt ill. Trainers asked him to sit down, however his condition got worse. Trainers called 911 and Snyder went into cardiac arrest when paramedics arrived. Snyder was taken to the hostpital, where he was pronounced dead. The coroner said that the autopsy was inconclusive.
"I think he was set on becoming a professional wrestler," said Dave Recor, Snyder's high school wrestling coach. "He was chasing his dream."
