New Day Call Out WWE Superstar Who Would Rip On Them, Describe Vince McMahon In One Word

What Culture Wrestling has an interview up with The New Day to promote the new WWE 2K17 video game, and it was quite the comedic affair. When each member was asked to describe Vince McMahon in one word, Kofi Kingston replied, "Yup" as Woods and Big E giggled.

"He signs our checks, he signs our checks so we have to be careful about what we say," Kofi continued. "Vince McMahon believed in The New Day, you understand?"

"He was the only one," said Woods.

While the three claim that Vince was the only one who believed in the assembly of their new group, Big E told a story of how The Big Show was apparently not a fan of the new stable upon its inception; but the big man would eventually eat his words once The New Day reached superstardom.

"Vince was the only one," Big E said. "We have a long list. The New Day likes to hold a grudge, we'll hold a grudge. For years a lot of people have said a lot of terrible and awful things. A lot of terrible things, in fact I will name names. Big Show. I will name that name because he said some terrible things, but he apologized."

"In the back, this is true, this is real, when we were in the back he would come up to Kofi and he would say 'why are you wasting your time with those two? They are dragging you down.' We're standing right there. You know what? We showed him. And he had to come to us, and bow down on his knees, and he said 'I'm sorry, I apologize. I was wrong. You're the best!'"

Kofi added that they wrote everything that Big Show said down on a piece of paper, and made him eat his words when he was down on his knees.

"We had a tour in Germany," Big E said. "And we had a match with Big Show, and Big Show said that was the most fun he had ever had in his career. He's been wrestling like, 50-years. A long time."
