WWE Signs Tough Enough Hopeful (Video)

WWE has signed Texas indie wrestler Victoria Gonzalez, according to Casey of SquaredCircleSirens. Gonzalez, who was profiled by The Mirror last month, is a second-generation wrestler as her father Rick was a Texas indie wrestler. He used the name Speedy Gonzalez or Rick "Desperado" Gonzalez for years.

The 6-foot-1, 24 year old first contacted WWE with a Tough Enough audition tape and while she didn't make the show, she was brought to the WWE Performance Center this past May for a tryout.

After a successful high school basketball run, Gonzalez began training under father and others, including George de la Isla at America's Academy of Pro Wrestling in Austin, TX and Rudy Boy Gonzalez of the Texas Wrestling Academy in San Antonio, formerly known as the Shawn Michaels Wrestling Academy.
