Amanda Nunes Talks Her Chances Of Beating Ronda Rousey, If Rousey Deserves Title Shot

UFC Woman's Bantamweight Champion Amanda Nunes appears quite confident in advance of her December 30th fight with the returning Ronda Rousey.

In an interview with TMZ Sports, Nunes said that there is a "200% chance" that she hands Rousey her second career loss.

"This is the moment I've been waiting for," Nunes said. The bantamweight champ also expressed gratitude toward both Rousey and UFC for scheduling this fight. Nunes also notes that she's "been training for Ronda Rousey since my first fight in UFC."

"She only had one loss, and all the UFC champions had a rematch, uh, right away. And they pick Ronda Rousey. I think everyone want[s] to see [this fight], and Ronda Rousey deserves this, uh, this fight," Nunes said.

When asked her thoughts on the belief that Rousey isn't deserving of a title shot, Nunes defended the decision to give her an immediate rematch, saying that she think it's wrong, and that Rousey deserves it.

To close out the interview, Nunes said that she's going to be ready for Rousey, and she's going to "block every single thing she's gonna bring that day."

UFC 207 will take place on Saturday, December 30th at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada.
