Becky Lynch WWE Status Update, When She Last Wrestled, Who Replaced Her At WWE Live Events, More

Multiple sources have now confirmed that SmackDown Women's Champion Becky Lynch is not cleared to compete. PWInsider notes that she is currently backstage for tonight's WWE No Mercy pay-per-view but she will not be wrestling against Alexa Bliss. As noted, Lynch is expected to at least appear and may be doing an injury angle similar to the one they recently did with Randy Orton.

We noted before that an undisclosed health issue, said to be not serious, put tonight's title defense in jeopardy. PWInsider notes that a health issue is keeping Becky from taking bumps but there is no physical injury and she has not been suspended. WWE officials have just made the decision that she cannot take bumps until this health issue has been cleared up.

Lynch last competed on Tuesday's SmackDown as she and Nikki Bella lost to Carmella and Alexa Bliss. Before that, she competed at the October 3rd live event in Palm Springs, teaming with Naomi to defeat Bliss, Carmella and Natalya in a Handicap Match. Becky did not appear at last night's SmackDown live event in Portland as Nikki replaced her, teaming with Naomi in the Handicap Match.

As of this writing, WWE is still advertising tonight's title match with Bliss and Becky has not commented on being out of action.
