Daniel Bryan On Dolph Ziggler Vs. The Miz Not Ending No Mercy, Ziggler Asks For Future Consideration

As noted, WWE aired a special edition of Talking Smack after tonight's WWE No Mercy pay-per-view. During the show, newly crowned WWE Intercontinental Champion Dolph Ziggler appeared on the show to talk about his big victory over The Miz.

During the segment, Ziggler asked Daniel Bryan and Shane McMahon to "one of these days" consider main eventing some shows with the Intercontinental Championship match after they see how those matches tear down the house.

"One of those days should have been today," Ziggler noted.

Bryan admitted that he was thinking that the Intercontinental title match should have been the main event after the WWE Championship match was moved to the start of the show.

"I apologize because I thought Randy [Orton] and Bray [Wyatt] also deserved to be in the main event, but you guys deserve to be in that spot."

Ziggler put over the brand and the effort put on tonight's pay-per-view, but said that "tonight I feel like we almost deserved that [the main event spot] a little bit more than everybody else."

Shane McMahon said that Ziggler's comments were "duly noted" before they moved on.
