John Cena Taking WWE Hiatus After This Week, Photo Of Cena Doing Voice Work For CGI Elephant

- As we first reported at the end of August, Cena will be taking a hiatus from WWE after this week to film the second season of American Grit. Cena is expected to be out of action until late December to film the show. Cena's last scheduled date before his hiatus is this Saturday's WWE live event in Phoenix, AZ. Cena is also scheduled to appear at the Survivor Series pay-per-view on November 20th, but is not currently advertised for any other shows after that until the WWE SmackDown live event at Madison Square Garden on Monday, December 26th.

- Speaking of Cena, we noted yesterday that Wonderful Pistachios launched their Get Crackin' campaign this week with two spots that introduce Ernie the Elephant, a computer-generated character voiced by Cena. You can check out a photo of Cena dubbing for the character below:
