The WWE NXT Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic continued on last night's episode as Austin Aries and his mystery partner Roderick Strong defeated Otis Dozovic and Tucker Knight, plus No Way Jose and Rich Swann defeated Tony Nese and Drew Gulak to advance.

Aries and Strong will now face TM-61 while Swann and Jose will face The Authors of Pain in the second round.
First round matches for next week include Lince Dorado and Mustafa Ali vs. Kota Ibushi and RAW Cruiserweight Champion TJ Perkins, plus Johnny Gargano and Tommaso Ciampa vs. HoHo Lun and Tian Bing.
