The Boogeyman Is Back (Video), How Much Has WWE Invested In Flo Sports?, Sting And Kurt Angle Photo
- The Boogeyman is back for Halloween, and WWE posted the video above of him scaring shoppers at a Halloween store.
- As noted, FloSports will start streaming independent wrestling and signed a five-year partnership with World Wrestling Network Live to broadcast all WWNLive properties, including EVOLVE, SHINE, Full Impact Pro and WWN Supershow. It was interesting because WWE has an investment in FloSports, and the new service would be competition for the Network. It was noted in the company's 10-Q filing that their stake in FloSports is $1 million. They have also invested $1 million in a fantasy sports contest provider and $250,000 in a virtual reality platform operator.
As noted yesterday, the filing also revealed that Stephanie McMahon signed a new contract with WWE that will see her stay with with the company at least through October 7th, 2019. The deal will automatically be extended each year, although either party could give a 90-day notice prior to the termination date.
- Sting and Kurt Angle crossed paths this weekend, and Angle noted that it was the first time that they hadn't seen each other in nearly three years. You can check out the Main Event Mafia alumni below:
