Anthem Makes Statement About Settlement With Billy Corgan

Anthem Sports & Entertainment noted on their Twitter that they are happy with the arrangement made with Smashing Pumpkins frontman Billy Corgan. We earlier noted that both parties had come to an agreement after the recent power struggle and the recent tweet indicated that the future might be bright for TNA.

As noted, there has been no official word on how much the settlement was for. Corgan was owed $1.8 million, and was seeking an additional 50% corporate transaction fee, which would have amounted to $900,00.

Corgan had revealed that he would be giving few interviews to clear up the smoke and also took time to appreciate the TNA talent. Below is what Anthem tweeted:
