Ronda Rousey Reportedly Had To Be Consoled After Recent Face-Off

As noted, the UFC had Ronda Rousey and UFC Bantamweight Champion Amanda Nunes face-off at the UFC 205 weigh-ins last week to promote their upcoming fight at UFC 207, which you can watch in the video above. After the face-off, Rousey started to storm off the stage. UFC President Dana White briefly stopped her, but she brushed him off and left the stage.

UFC President Dana White had blamed the incident on their producer, noting that Rousey "was never supposed to speak, and neither was Amanda."

"My production guy screwed that up," White said (props to MMAjunkie for the quotes). "It made Ronda look bad again like she just stormed off. They were not supposed to do an interview. They were supposed to go out there and square off, and they were both supposed to walk away."

MMA analyst Robin Black of The Fight Network noted that there were reports of Rousey being "very upset" in the back and needed to be consoled. Dave Meltzer also confirmed on Twitter this week that Rousey was upset and had to be consoled after the face-off.

UFC 207: Nunes vs. Rousey takes place on Friday, December 30th at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas.
