UFC Strips Jon Jones Of Title, Conor McGregor Really Can Do Everything, Saturday's UFC 205 Card

- We know all about the skills that Conor McGregor showcases inside the Octagon. We also know about those he has outside when it comes to promoting his fights. But did you know that the reigning UFC featherweight champion is also skilled with a basketball in his hands?

Following open workouts Wednesday ahead of UFC 205, "Notorious" picked up a basketball and drained a 3-pointer in Madison Square Garden – home of the NBA New York Knicks. In a few short days, McGregor challenges Eddie Alvarez for the lightweight title in the main event in MSG.

- The UFC has officially stripped Jon Jones of his interim light heavyweight title. Two days after USADA announced that Jones would be suspended for a year retroactive to July, UFC president Dana White told ESPN that he is no longer recognized as an interim champion.

Jones won the belt earlier this year with a decision win over Ovince Saint Preux after an injury knocked Daniel Cormier out. He was stripped of the belt last year by the UFC after legal issues left him unable to compete. Jones was scheduled to unify the belts with Cormier at UFC 200 in July before testing positive for a banned substance.

"It doesn't make sense," White said on 5ive Rounds. "He was the interim champion because he should have been fighting for the title (at UFC 197). We gave him this, 'You were supposed to fight for the title, here it is.'"

- Wrestling Inc. will bring you complete coverage this Saturday of UFC 205, including live play-by-play of the main card. Along with Eddie Alvarez-Conor McGregor for the lightweight title, welterweight champion Tyron Woodley defends his belt vs. Stephen Thompson from New York City.
