If Linda McMahon will be a part of President-elect Donald Trump's administration, it will not be for Secretary of Commerce. Trump is expected to announce today that billionaire investor Wilbur Ross will fill that position.
Shortly after Trump's upset victory earlier this month, sources close to both Linda McMahon and Trump's transition team confirmed that she was under consideration to become Secretary of Commerce in the new administration.
Linda McMahon had donated $6 million in August and September to the Rebuilding America Now super PAC supporting Trump. Her contributions made up approximately 1/3 of the $18 million in donations that the super PAC received last quarter.
