- As noted, it was announced on Talking Smack tonight that WWE Champion AJ Styles will defend his title against Dean Ambrose at the next SmackDown branded pay-per-view, WWE TLC. The bout will be a Tables, Ladders and Chairs match. Shane McMahon hyped the match on Twitter, writing:

- After tonight's SmackDown Live went off the air, Dolph Ziggler defeated The Miz to defend the WWE Intercontinental Championship. Maryse was banned from ringside. The Spirit Squad tried to interfere at one point, but the Hype Bros. made the save. (Thanks to @WWEBloggerDiva )
