WWE NXT Takeover Attendance, Triple H On DIY (Photo), Tye Dillinger On Coming Up Short (Video)
- This Fallout video from WWE NXT "Takeover: Toronto" features an emotional Tye Dillinger talking about the hometown loss to Bobby Roode. Tye says the loss is disheartening and he keeps getting close but it seems like he just can't finish the job or get it done. He mentions having family in the crowd. He says he really needed this win and doesn't know what's next. He had momentum and 10,000 Canadians on his side but he still came up short. Tye says those people stood up for him at the end and if they didn't give up on him, he shouldn't give up either. Tye says he's still a "Perfect 10" and won't come up short next time.
- WWE announced 12,649 fans in attendance at the Air Canada Centre for tonight's Takeover event.
- As noted, Tommaso Ciampa and Johnny Gargano became the new NXT Tag Team Champions by defeating The Revival in a 2 of 3 Falls match tonight. Triple H tweeted the following on the new champs:
No one hands you success. If you want to win, you need to #DIY. @ProjectCiampa @JohnnyGargano #NXTTakeOver pic.twitter.com/VvnEiQTZnP
