John Cena Not Advertised For SmackDown's WWE Elimination Chamber Pay-Per-View
As noted, the Elimination Chamber pay-per-view will be returning on Sunday, February 12, 2017. It will take place at the TSR Arena in Phoenix, AZ. Tickets for the show go on sale next Friday, December 16th at 10am.
Elimination Chamber is the final SmackDown pay-per-view before WrestleMania 33. It should be noted that John Cena is not currently scheduled for the event. The wrestlers currently advertised for the show are AJ Styles, Dean Ambrose, Randy Orton, Bray Wyatt, The Usos, Becky Lynch, The Miz, Dolph Ziggler, Natalya and Nikki Bella.
As noted, Cena, who is currently filming the second season of FOX's American Grit, will return to WWE at the December 26th live event at Madison Square Garden. He is expected to take another hiatus early next year to film Kay Cannon's directorial debut, The Pact. He plays one of the leads in the movie, alongside Leslie Mann and Ike Barinholtz, who play three parents who learn about their daughters making a pact to lose their virginity on prom night and go out to try to stop them.
