Mickey Gall On How CM Punk Will Fare In His Next UFC Fight, Finn Balor Talks Conor McGregor In WWE

- As noted, CM Punk recently revealed that he had met with UFC President Dana White and said that he wants to fight again. He noted that they've been going back and forth, and that an announcement may be coming soon. Mickey Gall, who defeated Punk via submission in a short one-sided fight in Punk's UFC debut at UFC 203 in September, appeared on The MMA Hour this week and said that he believes the same thing will happen in Punk's next fight.

"I think he'll be dealt (with) the same way I dealt him," Gall said. "If he fights a UFC caliber guy, I think they'll do it in the same way. So I think in hindsight, he probably should've taken some regional fights, amateur fighters, smaller shows. But I think that's ballsy of him to want to come back.

"I don't know. I mean, he's definitely going to help your pay-per-view and he brings that other audience," Gall continued. "But for kinda the legitimacy of the sport, I think it may water it down a little bit."

- As noted, The Gorilla Position podcast recently conducted a live interview with Finn Balor and Bayley in front of a live audience at the Indigo, O2 in London to celebrate its 100th episode. During the podcast, Balor discussed UFC Lightweight Champion Conor McGregor possibly working with WWE.

"Obviously Conor has been extremely successful in his field, but I now read he wants to expand his field," Balor said (h/t to Talk Sport for the transcription). "If he were to expand his field to the world of professional wrestling and whether he was in the corner with me or in the opposing corner facing me, I think it's a win for all of sports entertainment to have such a larger than life character involved in what we do. Regardless if he's against me or standing side-by-side, then it's a win-win for everyone."
