Sting On Wanting To Wrestle The Undertaker, If It's Still Likely, Hulk Hogan Approaching Him
As noted earlier, Sting appeared (painted face, baseball bat, and all) on the Dallas Cowboys' Talkin' Cowboys show as a "life long" fan. Here are some of the highlights.
Getting back into the ring:
"You know what, I always wanted that Undertaker match. I think wrestling fans it's a dream match for them, it's a dream match for me too, but I just don't think it's going to happen."
Getting into pro wrestling:
"I ended up a pro wrestler, but the area of Southern California that I grew up in, a little town, we didn't have pro wrestling on TV. So, when I was approached about pro wrestling, I didn't know what it was. Some big guy used to come into the gym that I owned and managed, people would freak out [and say] 'Do you know who that is?' It was Hulk Hogan."
Becoming a Cowboys fan:
"The whole country for the whole time I was growing up, the Cowboys were always talked about. The Cowboys were always number one, even in California, think my Dad was a Cowboys fan."
Sting also talked predictions for this week's Cowboys game and comparing the NFL schedule to pro wrestling's schedule. You can see the full interview by clicking here.
