- We open up looking at the rivalry between Neville and Aries as they face off at WWE Payback.
Rich Swann & Akira Tozawa vs. Noam Dar & Brian Kendrick
Kendrick uses his jacket as a projectile fluffy weapon, but the faces get the best of the attack after an aerial assault. We're finally back in the ring and the bell sounds to officially get the match started. Swann with a sweet backflip kick to the back of Kendrick's neck. Swann looks to the top rope early, but Dar sneaks in and sweeps the legs of Swann. This allows Kendrick to get the upper hand and the heels begin to cut the ring in half. Dar continues to work over Swann's arm and neck as they continue to make quick tags. Swann gets near the tag, but Kendrick takes out Tozawa to leave Swann without a partner. Swann hits a swift kick and makes the hot tag. Tozawa in to clean house with a plethora of strikes. Snap Saito Suplex from Tozawa sets himself up for a top rope attack. Dar makes him miss, but Tozawa rolls through, gets caught by Kendrick. Dar goes to take out his captured adversary, but knocks Kendrick off the mat instead. Shining Wizard from Tozawa for the win.
Winners via Pinfall: Tozawa & Swann
- Tozawa reveals lesson #4 to Kendrick: "Always choose wisely."
- Backstage with Dasha and Neville. The champ goes on to talk about how no one is on the Neville Level and how everyone will be forced to bend a knee to the king.
Mustafa Ali vs. Tony Nese
Before the match, Drew Gulak comes out with megaphone and posterboard in tow demonstrating the "no high flying" gimmick. He joins commentary as Nese shows off the physique as he takes early advantage. Ali returns the favor with a pose of his own. Ali catches a Nese kick and turns it into a reverse spin kick of his own for a near fall. Nese scoots out to regroup but Ali gives chase. Ali flips his way back in, but he gets bulldozed by a Nese shoulder tackle and clothesline. Nese in firm control now. Gulak is actually quite entertaining on commentary. Nese with a stalling suplex and gets a couple pumps in while he's at it. Nese showing some impressive offense in this one. Ali reverses a hip toss into a bulldog to create some space. Ali moves to some strikes much to the delight of Gulak. Ali quickly returns to his high flying antics with a corkscrew cross body for a near fall. Nese charges the corner but gets met with a kick. Roll-through neck breaker from Ali, but Nese rolls to the outside. To prove his point, Ali goes over the post to take out Nese. Back in the ring, Ali sets up Nese for the 450, but Gulak gets up and pulls Nese out of the ring to cause a DQ.
Winner via Disqualification: Tony Nese
- After the match, Ali flies onto Gulak from the top rope to the floor for a nice pop. He rids the ring of the senator of grappling to end the segment.
Jack Gallagher vs. Neville
The two Englishmen trade holds early. Gallagher with the trademark headstand and kicks Neville in the mush. Nice dropkick sends the champ outside. Neville decides for emotional tactics, as he throws William III to the entrance ramp. Gallagher throws caution to the wind with a diving headbutt to the outside. Just a few short strikes gets Neville back in and he's back in control. Missile dropkick from Neville knocks Gallagher back a few decades and Neville elects to go ground and pound.
Neville playing to the crowd while the decimation of Gallagher continues. Double kick to the back of Gallagher's head knocks him loopy. Neville capitalizes with a pair of submissions. Gallagher sneaks out and tries a roll-up to no avail. Gallagher with a nice throw that takes the champ down. Gallagher hits another dropkick on the button for another near fall. Both men showing some battle scars. Neville scolds Gallagher, but the gentleman hits yet another drop kick. Neville no-sells it, to which Gallagher replies with an absolutely deafening headbutt for a long two.
Double underhook applied, Neville pins, Gallagher bridges out into a butterfly suplex. Gallagher perches the champ on the top rope and joins him. Neville with a palm strike and elbow to battle out and sends Gallagher to the corner. Neville then goes on a rampage of kicks while Gallagher's head is stuck in the turnbuckle. The champ mercifully applies the Rings of Saturn and Gallagher has no choice but to tap.
Winner via Submission: Neville
- Neville celebrates on the ramp, but he isn't finished. He ambushes an injured Gallagher and applies Rings of Saturn. Austin Aries runs in for the save and locks in Last Chancery until officials pry him off. Aries stands tall in the ring to end the show.
