Renee Young and Shane McMahon welcomes us as they get right into Shinsuke Nakamura, Kevin Owens, and Baron Corbin. Renee talks about how Corbin has been taking out guys left and right, most recently, Nakamura to end tonight's SmackDown. Shane feels that Corbin is in the main event spot these days.
Mojo Rawley joins the show.
Mojo sits down as Shane was talking about Corbin and thanks Shane for the opportunity. Mojo is asked about his match tonight and how he feels about how things went against the WWE Champion, Jinder Mahal. He says he didn't get the job done, but he'll refocus, and get back to the drawing board. Mojo says hats off to Jinder and that he's a different guy now compared to his previous match against the champ. He continues that he won't doubt himself and isn't going to lose his "Mojo," but he knows that he will just get back to the gym and study the tape, so he's ready for the next chance. Shane shakes Mojo's hand and saying how Mojo just described his mentality was impressive. Rawley talks about how one loss isn't going to end him and he'll step back up, it's what he's all about. He says he's angry about the loss, but will keep his head up, he shakes Shane's hand again and heads off.
Renee and Shane switch up to talk about New Day and The Colons. Renee feels the tag division is incredible with the current talent pool. Renee also mentions that Shane was on "Stone Cold" Steve Austin's podcast recently.
Lana joins the show.
Lana says she's very excited and happy for the opportunity and tells Naomi be careful what you wish for, she is going to snatch Naomi bald and snatch her title. She talks about making history by debuting and winning the title at the same time. Renee asks about what preparations Lana has done to keep up with Naomi's athleticism. Lana admits she is a little nervous about Naomi's talents, but she has been training and has brought in the best coaches to help with that. She says she'll bring things to new heights and that Naomi has not faced someone like her yet. Renee asks about if Lana will bring her devious tactics into the match like tonight, when she tripped Naomi during tonight's match. Shane reiterates that Lana doesn't deserve the title shot, but it's because Naomi asked for the match. Lana says Shane is naive and this is the land of opportunity, she has come from a small pathetic town and has made it this far despite the doubters. Lana proclaims she will be the first ravishing Women's Champion ever and bring it to new heights and is excited for both Shane and Renee for when this happens.
Lana exits as Renee and Shane continue to talk about why Shane gave her the title match. Shane and Renee joke about how Shane "shushed" Renee last week. They switch to the Women's MITB match and if the winner of that could potentially face Lana. They talk about the Fashion Files, Renee brings up the man romper that Tyler Breeze was wearing. She asks Shane if he's ever wore one, which he didn't seem to be too big about.
AJ Styles joins the show.
AJ says if Shane wears a man romper, they are back to square one. Renee asks AJ about getting his win back tonight against Dolph Ziggler. Styles was happy and the ending was pretty sweet. They move to the MITB Match and Styles talks about how he has to deal with five guys in the ring and climb the ladder quick enough to grab the briefcase. Styles wasn't impressed with Corbin's cheap shot tactics, he says anybody can do that! He says he's not worried about Corbin as long as he keeps his eyes open and keeps Corbin at a distance. Shane talks about how ring awareness is needed to survive a match like that. Styles continues on how difficult the match is – Shane agrees – saying it's even more dangerous than just a Ladder Match. Renee asks what it feels like to be hit by a ladder and Styles simple says it sucks.
Styles says he's most worried about Ziggler, because he's actually won this match, and he wants to figure out what Ziggler did to win it. Shane and AJ talk about strategy and trying to figure out who other guys may focus on, and how to take advantage of those situations. Renee asks when AJ would cash it in, if he won. Styles said it would depend on how he felt after the match and it's about cashing it at the right time, that's the most important thing. Renee plugs Money in the Bank and then thanks Styles for coming on the show. Styles asks what's in their coffee mugs as Renee thanks everyone for watching the show, and we're out!
