- Dave Meltzer confirmed on the latest edition of Wrestling Observer Radio that Drew McIntyre's injury was in the final spot of his match with Andrade "Cien" Almas at NXT Takeover: WarGames this past Saturday night, where he was holding on to the top rope as Almas hit him with a DDT. For those asking, that was the planned finish with Almas winning the title after the DDT. As noted, the belief is that McIntyre suffered a torn left biceps, but Meltzer stated that McIntyre hadn't had an MRI done as of Sunday afternoon.
