- During an interview with NJPW, the team of EVIL and SANADA spoke about a number of their opponents in the World Tag League Tournament. SANADA mentioned one team he would prefer not to see in the finals, IWGP Tag Team Champions, K.E.S. (Davey Boy Smith Jr. and Lance Archer).
"Personally, I can see Hanson and Rowe, War Machine going through. The champions, KES, I don't want to face them," SANADA said. "First of all, they're huge. Then, Dave Boy Smith Junior. I've never wrestled him, but looking at the man he just seems, greasy. Like, covered in oil. I can just imagine trying to wrestle him and slipping all over the place."
- Ring of Honor announced three more matches for their Final Battle PPV on December 15. Kenny King will defend his ROH World Television Championship in a Four Corners Elimination match against Shane Taylor, Punishment Martinez, and Silas Young. The Young Bucks and Adam Page will defend their ROH World Six-Man Tag Team Championships against Flip Gordon, Dragon Lee, and Titan. Finally, Will Ospreay will face Matt Taven.
