NJPW Announces Return To U.S. In 2018
At today's NJPW Power Struggle, it was announced the company will make their return to the U.S. in 2018 on March 25 in Long Beach, California at the Walter Pyramid. Back in July, NJPW held their first shows in the U.S. with their G1 Special that featured Kenny Omega winning the IWGP United States Championship by defeating Tomohiro Ishii in the finals of an 8-man tournament. The G1 Special had just over 2,700 fans in attendance on each of their nights in Long Beach. The Walter Pyramid typically holds around 5,000 people, photos of the location are below.
