Top Impact Wrestling Star Done With The Company (Contains Spoilers)

Former TNA World Champion James Storm is reportedly done with Impact Wrestling.

At tonight's Impact Wrestling tapings, Storm lost a match to Dan Lambert with the stipulation that Storm would have to leave the company if he lost. Storm had been rumored to be leaving the company, as this is the last set of tapings before Storm's contract expires in January. During a media conference call last month, Storm hinted at his time with Impact nearing an end.

"There's a lot that I can't really talk about, but I always say: you never know what the future holds," Storm said. "There might be a new door opening, I don't know. All I can do is work my butt off, get in the best shape I can, just show up to work and do what I'm told."

Storm signed with TNA / Impact Wrestling in June of 2002. Outside of a couple of appearances in NXT in late 2015, he had been with the company ever since.

Storm won his first and only TNA World Heavyweight Championship by defeating Kurt Angle in October of 2011. His reign was short-lived, as he lost the title 8 days later to Bobby Roode.

Storm posted the following on Twitter tonight regarding his departure:
