WWE Announces Big Match For Tonight's Monday Night RAW

The WWE is apparently not waiting until this Sunday for The Shield to return to action. WWE announced today that the trio will reunite on tonight's episode of Monday Night RAW to face WWE Intercontinental Champion The Miz and RAW Tag Team Champions Sheamus & Cesaro.

The Shield were originally scheduled to return to action in the main event of last month's TLC pay-per-view, however Roman Reigns was pulled from the match days before the show after he was diagnosed with the mumps. Reigns, who returns on tonight's RAW for the first time since being pulled from TLC, was replaced by Kurt Angle in the match in Angle's first WWE match in 11 years. Angle, Dean Ambrose & Seth Rollins went on to defeat Braun Strowman, Miz, Cesaro, Sheamus & Kane in a Tables, Ladders & Chairs 5-on-3 Handicap Match.
