Chris Jericho Responds To Naito Saying They're The "Semi Main Event," ROH Final Battle Tag Match Set

- Above is NJPW's free match of the week featuring: El Samurai, Jushin Thunder Liger, Wild Pegasus vs. Dr. Wagner Jr., Chris Jericho, and Kouji Kanemoto from September of 1997. Liger won it for his team with a super brainbuster on Dr. Wagner Jr.

- ROH announced a new match for Final Battle on December 15. It will be War Machine (Ray Rowe and Hanson) vs. The Addiction (Christopher Daniels and Frankie Kazarian). Below is the updated card:

* Cody (c) vs. Dalton Castle (ROH World Championship)
* The Motor City Machine Guns (Alex Shelley and Chris Sabin) (c) vs. Best Friends (Beretta and Chuckie T.) (ROH World Tag Team Championship)
* Kenny King (c) vs. Punishment Martinez vs. Shane Taylor vs. Silas Young (Elimination Match for ROH World TV Championship)
* Adam Page and The Young Bucks (c) vs. Dragon Lee, Flip Gordon and Titán (ROH World Six-Man Tag Team Championship)
* Will Ospreay vs. Matt Taven

- As noted, in an interview via Yahoo! Japan, Kenny Omega said Wrestle Kingdom 12 is a "double main event" show with Kazuchika Okada defending the IWGP Heavyweight Championship against Tetsuya Naito and Omega defending the IWGP U.S. Championship against Chris Jericho. Naito wasn't a fan of Omega using the double main event term, responding that it doesn't mean anything rather than Omega just saying that he wants to be the main event. Chris Jericho has now chimed that there is only one main event for the upcoming show, and it's Omega vs. Jericho. Jericho challenged Omega – via video – at NJPW Power Struggle in November.
