Spoilers On Plans For The 2018 WWE Hall Of Fame Class

Journalist Brad Shepard, who recently broke the story about the XFL possibly returning under another name, reports that current plans for the 2018 WWE Hall of Fame Class have Bill Goldberg, The Dudleys, Ivory and Bam Bam Bigelow going in. Kid Rock would get the Celebrity Wing induction.

Dave Meltzer noted in The Wrestling Observer Newsletter that Goldberg's name has been discussed as the headliner for some time now and The Dudleys have also been discussed for a while. Meltzer added that Batista was talked about at one point, but with the feeling that if he's coming back, it might be delayed and he's not on the list. As noted, Batista recently said that he has spoken to Vince McMahon about a WWE return and that he doesn't just want a one-off.

"I would love to go back, but the reason I have not gone back is because I don't want to do a one-off," Batista recently said on Jim Ross' podcast. "I want to go and I want to wrestle. I want to do some house shows. I want to be a part of the program. And the one-off thing, the cheap pop thing, man, it doesn't do anything for me. So now, it's a matter of scheduling if I can go back and if I get injured is it going to affect something else? Yeah.

"I'm just not a cheap pop guy, man. It just doesn't work for me. It's not appealing to me at all. Actually, it turns me off. Yeah, but no. I stay in touch [with WWE] and I've talked to Vince recently and he knows what I want."

WWE should announce the Hall of Fame headliner as WrestleMania 34 Season kicks off in January.
