Post-Backlash Edition Of WWE SmackDown Draws Lowest Viewership Since Halloween 2017

This week's WWE SmackDown, featuring fallout from WWE Backlash, drew 2.293 million viewers. This is down from last week's 2.436 million viewers, which was the lowest viewership of 2018 until now. This is the lowest SmackDown viewership going back to the Halloween 2017 episode, which drew 2.119 million viewers. The last non-holiday SmackDown episode to draw lower was the June 13th, 2017 episode, which drew 2.072 million viewers.

SmackDown featured a Money In the Bank qualifying match with Rusev and Daniel Bryan as this week's main event.

SmackDown was #10 in viewership for the night on cable, behind two airings of the NBA Playoffs, Hannity, Rachel Maddow, Tucker Carlson, The Ingraham Angle, Last Word, Special Report and The Five. SmackDown was #4 in the 18-49 demographic, behind the NBA airings and Inside The NBA Playoffs.

The NBA Playoffs topped the night with almost 9 million viewers across both airings.

In comparison, Monday's RAW drew 2.689 million viewers, down from last week's 3.066 million viewers and is the lowest viewership of 2018. This was also the lowest RAW viewership going back to December 11th, 2017, which drew 2.684 million viewers.
