Welcome to our live coverage of WWE 205 Live. We will be providing live ongoing coverage of tonight’s show, while you all can chime in with your thoughts in the “Comments” section below.
Show opens with a recap of last week’s show, where Cedric Alexander successfully defended his cruiserweight championship against Drew Gulak. 205 Live general manager Drake Maverick then appears to hype the Super Show-Down title bout between Cedric and Buddy Murphy, and says he’ll be appearing to orchestrate a face-to-face meeting between both the champ and challenger tonight.
Maverick then highlights the matches for the evening, including Lio Rush against Noam Dar, and a rematch between Mustafa Ali and Hideo Itami.
Vic Joseph, Nigel McGuinness, and Percy Watson welcome us to the show. Noam Dar makes his way to the ring, followed by Lio Rush.
Lio Rush vs. Noam Dar
Rush hits Dar right before the bell rings. Dar responds by penalty kicking Rush’s legs out from under him. Dar snapmares Rush into the turnbuckles, then hits a back-body drop for the first pinfall attempt. Only two. Back in the ring Rush works over Dar with knife-edged chops and a big powerslam. Dar tries to mount a comeback but Rush keeps cutting him off, wearing him down with kicks to the gut.

Running elbow and Northern Lights suplex by Dar. Another cover but again a two count. Dar goes to the corner to set up his finisher but Rush attempts a kick, Dar catches him a submission!

Buddy says Cedric got lucky last time. He’s had every advantage as a champion, and in his hometown of Melbourne Australia, he’ll become the next cruiserweight champion.
