WWE RAW Viewership Drops With NFL Monday Night Football Competition
Monday's Hell In a Cell go-home edition of WWE RAW, featuring advertised appearances by Triple H and WWE Hall of Famer Mick Foley with Braun Strowman and WWE Universal Champion Roman Reigns in the main event segment, drew 2.740 million viewers. This is down 4.6% from last week's 2.872 million viewers for the Labor Day episode.
For this week's show, the first hour drew 2.818 million viewers (last week's hour 1 – 2.945 million), the second hour drew 2.801 million viewers (last week's hour 2 – 2.933 million) and the final hour drew 2.601 million viewers (last week's hour 3 – 2.740 million).
RAW was #6 for the night in viewership on cable, behind two NFL Monday Night Football games on ESPN, The Rachel Maddow Show, Tucker Carlson Tonight and Hannity. RAW was #5 in the 18-49 demographic this week, behind the two NFL games, Love & Hip-Hop and the Monday Night Kickoff show on ESPN.
The return of the NFL's Monday Night Football topped the night in the 18-49 demographic and in viewership this week. The Jets vs. Lions game drew 10.336 million viewers and came in at #1 while the Rams vs. Raiders game came in at #2 with 9.607 million viewers.
Bachelor In Paradise drew 4.228 million viewers on broadcast TV in the 8pm hour while Big Bang Theory drew 5.458 million viewers, American Ninja Warrior drew 5.691 million viewers, So You Think You Can Dance drew 2.569 million viewers and Penn & Teller drew 1.001 million viewers, all in the 8pm hour on broadcast TV.
