Bobby Roode Reunites With Monty Brown (Photo), Peyton Royce On Women's Tag Titles, WWE Top 10
- WWE released the latest Top 10, shown above, of upset victories by debuting superstars. This coincides with EC3 defeating Dean Ambrose in his main roster debut last week (ranked as number seven). Other highlights include Randy Orton beating Hardcore Holly, The Rock at Survivor Series 1996 and Santino Marella winning the Intercontinental Title against Umaga back in 2007. The number one moment was then-NXT Champion Kevin Owens beating John Cena in 2015.
- Peyton Royce of the IIconics took to Twitter to talk about the WWE Women's Tag Team Titles, which she will be fighting for with Billie Kay at the Elimination Chamber PPV inside the steel structure.
"When you know you're destined for greatness, your potential haunts you, it keeps you up at night," Royce stated. "You won't feel complete until you succeed."
The Elimination Chamber PPV takes place on February 17th inside the Toyota Center in Houston, Texas.
- Bobby Roode ran into a familiar face at a WWE house show this past weekend. Monty Brown, who wrestled as Marcus Cor Von while with WWE's version of ECW, showed up at a WWE house show in Saginaw, Michigan. The former Impact Wrestling star worked together with Roode for several years down in Orlando. Now retired, Brown has become a personal trainer.
"Great to see my old friend @TheMontyBrown backstage at #WWESaginaw . Truly one of nicest guys I have ever had the pleasure of working with in this business."
