Indie Promotion To Host Homecoming For Top WWE NXT Star
New England indie promotion Chaotic Wrestling has announced a homecoming event for WWE NXT Champion Tommaso Ciampa.
Ciampa will return to his former home promotion on Friday, March 15 at Haverhill High School in Haverhill, Massachusetts for the CW Cold Fury 18 event. Tickets go on sale next Friday and will be priced $15 for General Admission/Bleachers, $25 for General Admission/Floor and $30 for VIP Rows.
Ciampa last appeared for Chaotic in September 2016 at their "Night of Grand Slams" event in Lowell, MA. He defeated current NXT Tag Team Champion Hanson that night.
Ciampa took to Twitter to comment on the announcement, and noted that he will be bringing "Goldy" with him. He wrote, "My first match was in a Chaotic ring. My first Title was won in a Chaotic ring. My first WWE contract was announced and signed in a Chaotic ring. Now, 14 plus years later, I return home... as The Champ. Goldy is coming too"
There's no word yet on if Ciampa will participate in some sort of angle on March 15 but he likely will not wrestle. He will also do a pre-show meet & greet with fans.
Below are tweets hyping the big appearance:
