- As noted, the WWE NXT Breakout Tournament will begin on tonight's NXT TV episode as Angel Garza (Garza Jr.) faces Joaquin Wilde (DJZ) in a first-round match. The WWE Performance Center posted this video looking at Wilde, who discusses his journey to the brand, his life-threatening injury from 2017, and more.

"There was a lot of people that thought I was damaged goods and I would never make it to WWE because of the injury, because of the ugly scar, because of what I'd been through, but I never let that get inside my head, I never let that bother me or stop me from chasing my dream, and the day that I got the call, offered me a contract with WWE, I cried. I cried for probably a good 15 minutes just because I was replaying in my head, how long my journey had been to get here, and I just couldn't believe it was real. Sometimes I'm still not convinced this is real," Wilde said.
