WWE SmackDown Viewership Down For Hall Of Famers Returning And Champion Vs. Champion Main Event

This week's WWE SmackDown episode, featuring a big non-title Champion vs. Champion main event with WWE Champion Kofi Kingston defeating WWE United States Champion AJ Styles, drew 1.911 million viewers, according to Showbuzz Daily. This is down 11.6% from last week's 2.162 million viewers.

This week's SmackDown also featured a King's Court segment with WWE Hall of Famers Jerry Lawler and Trish Stratus returning, plus Dolph Ziggler vs. Finn Balor advertised ahead of time.

SmackDown was #12 for the night in viewership on CNN's various coverage of the Democratic Debate, Hannity, Tucker Carlson Tonight, The Ingraham Angle, The Five, The Story and Special Report. SmackDown was #5 in the Cable Top 150 18-49 demographic this week, after two weeks at #1. CNN's debate coverage took the top 4 slots in the Cable Top 150. The 5 programs on the debate drew 31.297 million viewers for CNN.

The big draw on network TV at 8pm was America's Got Talent on NBC, which drew 7.970 million viewers.

To compare, Monday's RAW episode drew an average of 2.321 million viewers, down from last week's 3.093 million viewers for the RAW Reunion episode.
