WWE 205 Live Results (2/26): August Grey Collides With Tony Nese, Ever-Rise In Tag Action

Vic Joseph and Nigel McGuinness welcome us to another edition of 205 Live. We kick things off with an entertaining tag team match!
Ever-Rise vs. Mansoor & Curt Stallion
Curt Stallion and Matt Martel kick things off. Both men go straight for a collar and elbow lockup. Martel backs Stallion up towards the ropes. He cleanly breaks the hold. Martel clocks Stallion and asks him what does he have to show? Stallion flips Martel over with a side headlock takedown. Stallion drags Martel towards his corner for a tag to Mansoor. Martel and Mansoor briefly clash before Martel makes a tag out to Chase Parker.
Parker comes in with a tight side headlock. He can't throw Mansoor up and over for a takedown. Mansoor turns it around with an atomic drop that turns into a headlock. Mansoor makes a tag out to Stallion. Stallion puts Parker in the same hold. Stallion quickens the pace with a heavy elbow from off the ropes. Stallion tags Mansoor back in. Mansoor looks for a cover. Parker kicks out at two. Stallion tags in Martel.

Mansoor sends Ever-Rise crashing with double atomic drops. Stallion joins his partner with a double missile dropkick that sends Ever-Rise out of the ring. The Bollywood Boyz come out and motivate Ever-Rise to get back into the ring. Mansoor is confused when Martel comes in for Parker – he did not see the tag. Martel slams Mansoor onto the mat with a huge powerbomb. Parker is back in. He misses an elbow drop attempt. Mansoor goes up and over with a rollup. Parker kicks out.
Martel makes a tag in. Both men trade shots in Ever-Rise's corner. Mansoor escapes and gets a tag out to Stallion. Stallion flies out of the ring with a perfect dive on The Bollywood Boyz. Parker breaks Stallion's momentum by putting his knees up in time after Stallion flies off the top rope. Parker lands a big boot on Stallion, which sends him out of the ring. The Bollywood Boyz slide in their film marker. The referee sees this. Parker is confused. While distracted, Mansoor rolls Parker up and gains the pinfall victory!
Winners: Mansoor & Curt Stallion
- We look back on August Grey's pre-match beatdown from Ariya Daivari and Tony Nese last week. Later that night, Grey took a loss from Daivari in the main event. Up next, Grey will do battle with Tony Nese.
August Grey (w/Jake Atlas) vs. Tony Nese (w/Ariya Daivari)
Both men go straight for a lockup. Next, they take turns with back and forth wrist locks. Tony Nese takes August Grey down and tires to apply a crossface. Grey escapes and applies pressure by driving his knee into Nese's shoulder. Grey has Nese cornered. He lands a series of forearms and kicks. He keeps the momentum going with a hurricanrana, then a body slam. Grey goes for a cover. Nese escapes at two. Ariya Daivari taunts Grey on the outside. Jake Atlas comes over to confront Daivari. Grey slides out and stands face-to-face against Daivari. Grey makes his way back up on the apron. Nese slingshots over the top rope, dropping Grey neck-first onto the top rope.

Grey finds his way back into this match with a twisting crossbody off the top. Nese slides through with a pump handle slam. Nese with a cover. Grey kicks out at two. Nese continues to keep Grey down with a body scissors. Grey fights out with a big right hand. Grey sends Nese down with two big clotheslines, then a drop, and then a swinging neckbreaker. Grey thinks he has it in the bag, so he goes for a pin. Nese keeps himself alive with another kick out. Daivari slams Atlas towards the steal stairs. Grey looks over. Nese clocks Grey with a big palm strike but misses a 450 splash. Nese steps out of the ring and takes Atlas off his feet. Grey soars out of the ring with a big dive. Back in the ring, Grey sends Nese out with So Much Prettier finisher for the pinfall victory!
Winner: August Grey
