WWE 205 Live Results (6/25): August Grey Vs. Grayson Waller, Daivari Takes On Jiro

Vic Joseph and Nigel McGuinness welcome us to another edition of 205 Live. We kick things off with the first singles match scheduled for tonight's show!
Ikemen Jiro vs. Ariya Daivari
Ikemen Jiro has a little fun in the ring before he locks up with Ariya Daivari. Daivari kicks Jiro down on his knees. Back on his feet, Jiro connects two deep arm drags before tying Daivari's arm up. Daivari turns it into a side headlock. Jiro reverses the hold. Daivari escapes out of the hold with a shoulder tackle from off the ropes.
Jiro tosses Daivari up and over with a massive body slam. Jiro puts Daivari in a Delfin Clutch. Daivari's shoulders touch the mat. The referee makes a count. Daivari kicks out. Daivari then drops Jiro off the apron with a neckbreaker. Back in the ring, Daivari locks Jiro up in a sleeper hold. Jiro turns things around as he backs Daivari into the corner. Daivari lands a back kick to Jiro, creating some much-needed space. After, Daivari meets Jiro in the center and rains down a flurry of punches. Jiro recovers and returns the favor on Daivari.
Jiro applies a jawbreaker with an assist from the ropes before connecting a moonsault for just a near-fall! Jiro continues the onslaught with an Asai Moonsault on the outside. Back in the ring again, Jiro hits a senton from off the top. Cover. Daivari stays alive at 2. Daivari catches Jiro with a spiked DDT for a cover. Jiro pops free. Daivari lands a nasty kick from off the apron. He misses a frog splash from the top. Jiro gets the last say in the match with an Ikemen Splash (jumping knee) for the pinfall victory.
Winner: Ikemen Jiro
Backstage: Before the main event, August Grey calls out the undefeated star of 205 Live, Grayson Waller.

August Grey vs. Grayson Waller
Both men go straight for a collar and elbow tie-up. The crowd is all behind August Grey. Grayson Waller takes Grey down on the mat. They reset. Grey gains control of Waller with a side headlock. Waller drops down. Waller grabs hold of Grey's leg and slams him down on the mat. Back on their feet, Grey catches Waller from off with ropes with a big hip toss. Both men get into a shoving contest. Grey shoves the hardest, sending Waller flat on his behind.
Grey holds onto Waller and rolls him up with a cradle. Waller gets his shoulders up at two. Waller teases multiple kip-ups just seconds before clocking Grey in the chin. Waller sends Grey back down again with a big boot. Waller tries to trap Grey with a triangle lock, but Grey counters it with a rollup. Waller breaks free. Waller continues to stay on top with a backbreaker on Grey. Cover. Grey kicks out. The body shots rain through from Waller.
Waller has Grey in the tree of woe position. Waller kicks away at Grey's face while he's suspended on the ropes. Waller continues the onslaught with an Argentine backbreaker rack. Waller grinds Grey into the mat before flying off the top rope. Waller with the cover. Will this be enough? No! Grey kicks out. Grey gets fired up with a dive to the outside! Next, he lands a beautifully twisted corkscrew from off the top. Grey wraps Waller around the rope with a triangle hold. Waller kills Grey's momentum and sends him away with a high curb stomp. Waller still remains undefeated on the purple brand.
Winner: Grayson Waller
