Danielson smashes Jackson’s chest before dropping him with a suplex. Danielson looks for a cover. Kick out by Nick. Danielson starts working on Jackson’s shoulder, looking to hyperextend it. Jackson backs them up into the corner. Danielson rocks Jackson’s world with shoot kick and chops combinations. Jackson sends Danielson to the other side with a well-scouted arm drag. Danielson topples to the outside. Once he lands on the outside, Matt Jackson spears Danielson just before we head to picture-in-picture.

Coming off the break, Nick slams Danielson face first with a bulldog. Then, he dares to mock Danielson’s repeated round kicks (fka Yes Kicks). Both groups brawl, the faces clear the ring. Jungle Boy locks Cole in the snare trap while the heels are on the outside. Danielson encourages Omega to get back in the ring. He does and gets put in the LeBell Lock. Cole and Omega stare at each other while both in submission and tap at the same time.

– In a taped video, CM Punk calls himself a five-tool player. Since arriving in AEW, he’s been untouchable. He wants the best that this company can give him. He says he would rather choke to death up against the best than settle for mediocracy.

– Malakai Black enjoys the torture he put The Nightmare Family through. And his reign of terror in AEW is far from over.

– We look back at the triumphant victory Sammy Guevara had last week. The new TNT Champion looks forward to having a go-around with Bobby Fish this Wednesday.

– We just received word who four of the six participants will be at Dynamite’s Casino Ladder Match next Wednesday. The first four entrants announced are Jon Moxley, PAC, Lance Archer and Andrade El Idolo. The other two athletes will be announced later in tonight’s broadcast!

Backstage: Just before their Hair vs. Hair main event match, Mark Henry speaks to Orange Cassidy and Jack Evans on a split-screen. Matt Hardy (who will be in Evans’ corner tonight) promises Cassidy will come out this bout with no hair. Cassidy is confused about what this match is. Henry reminds him what’s at stake, to which Cassidy replies, “I guess I better not lose then.”

And now, the main event!

Hair Vs. Hair: Orange Cassidy vs. Jack Evans (w/ Matt Hardy)

Matt Hardy storms into the ring; Orange Cassidy isn’t sure what this is about. He turns around only to get stacked up by Jack Evans. Cassidy moves out at two. Cassidy recovers and hits his wonderfully sequenced kicks. He looks for a backslide but Evans wiggles out at two. Cassidy swings Evans round and round by his hair! Nervous about what’s going on to his client, Matt Hardy drags Cassidy out of the ring and lands a massive right hand. Evans is right behind with a corkscrew kick from off the apron and then heads off the apron again with a 450. Our broadcast goes to picture-in-picture!

Picture-In-Picture: Jack Evans stays on top of Cassidy. Seconds before the show goes back to full screen, Evans captures a handspring back elbow.

Cassidy fires up two dives on Hardy and Evans! Then, he scales the ropes for a top rope crossbody for a two count. Evans recovers with a Northern Lights Suplex followed by a Michinoku Driver and a standing corkscrew moonsault for a near-fall! Cassidy spikes Evans with a DDT and a diving DDT for a 2.8 count!!

Hardy panics and brings out The Butcher, The Blade and The Bunny and the rest of the Hardy Family Office. Then, Chuck Taylor, Wheeler Yuta, Kris Statlander and The Dark Order come out to defend Cassidy. Meanwhile, back in the ring, Cassidy knocks Evans sideways with his Superman punch. 1-2-3, Cassidy keeps his luscious locks!

Winner: Orange Cassidy

Post-Match: Say goodbye to Jack Evans’ hair. Yuta and Taylor are dressed in barber uniforms. Cassidy is first with the scissors. Everyone is having a blast. We end it with The Dark Order, Cassidy, Yuta, Statlander and Taylor surrounding -1 with a big hug in the center of the ring!

Just in: Speaking of Orange Cassidy, him and Matt Hardy have been added to the Casino Ladder Match. Remember, there is a Joker that will arrive as the seventh participant. We’ll find out who that is on Wednesday.

That concludes this week’s episode. Thanks for watching!
