Breaking out on the indie circuit in 2021, Lee Moriarty showed off his technically sound skills in promotions such as, MLW, PWG, and ROH. All Elite Wrestling brought in Moriarty for episodes of Dark and he was offered a contract on the spot from AEW President Tony Khan in September of 2021.
