Ali Baugatinov vs. Tim Elliot

Round 1: A touch of gloves gets us started. Elliot pressing forward with his hands down and his face forward. Elliot trying to work unorthodox striking and Ali looking to counter. Elliot tries for a takedown and is stuffed. They work the clinch briefly and Ali lands a nice right on the break. Ali cracks Elliot with a punch and a knee that look to have him hurt, but Elliot is still pushing forward. Elliot tries for a knee and Ali plants him on the mat. Elliot gets to his feet quickly but takes a knee to the body on the way. Both men swinging and missing. Ali engages the clinch and lands a few glancing blows as Elliot pulls away. Round 2: Elliot pushing forward again and Ali is countering. Eliot lands a lunging knee, but Ali uses it to plant him on the mat. Elliot snatches a guillotine on the way down. It looks tight, but Ali fights free. Elliot with the takedown. Elliot working some ground and pound. Ali threatens an armbar and sweeps to his feet. Ali lands a hard right hand. Ali looking tired, but still landing the harder shots. Elliot dives for a takedown and gets stuffed. They scramble and end up back on their feet. Round 3: Elliot looks the fresher of the two fighters. He lands a stiff right. Ali lands a hard kick. Elliot busier, but less effective. Ali lands an uppercut-straight combo on the counter. Ali coming forward with hard shots now; Elliot avoiding most of them with head and foot movement. Elliot with a flurry. Elliot misses an uppercut and tries a takedown. Ali backpedaling, trying to catch his breath. Ali lands a shot and is denied a takedown. Elliot pushing the pace still, but not mounting much offense. Ali with a strong right, left. Josh Koscheck vs. Tyron Woodley

Round 1: No glove touch between these two. Woodley with a right hand. Woodley knocks Koscheck down with a stiff right hand. Koscheck takes a knee as they clinch, but then moves in for the takedown. Woodley defending against the cage. The crowd boos as Koscheck keeps Woodley against the wall. Ref Herb Dean separates them and restarts them in the center. Woodley with a hard leg kick; he starts putting pressure on Koscheck with strikes but backs off when he gets stung. They're going after each other and Woodley takes a deep breath. Woodley drops Koscheck with a hard punch and pours it on him when he hits the mat. Koscheck somehow survives and slows Woodley from full guard. Woodley presses Koscheck to the cage; Dean warns the stand up. He follows through. Koscheck may not be fully recovered. Woodley drops Koscheck again with a mean right hook and puts him away with a follow up shot.

Rory MacDonald vs. Robbie Lawler

Round 1: Lawler gets off with some hard leg kicks to start. MacDonald holding the center of the cage. MacDonald threatens a takedown. Lawler effective with kicks to the leg. Halfway through the first and the story so far is Lawler's leg kick; MacDonald has been unable to check them so far. Lawler trying to push forward and land, but MacDonald remains elusive. MacDonald with little offense so far. Lawler tries a head kick that MacDonald catches; Lawler tags MacDonald with a few shots from that position before the bell. Round 2: MacDonald shoots but gets stuffed. He uses the opportunity to press Lawler with some offense. MacDonald working the front kick. Lawler pressing forward. MacDonald starting to put things together, lands a nice combo. Lawler responds with a hard right hook and body kick. MacDonald lands a hard straight right to the body. Lawler still successful with the leg kicks. MacDonald stringing together his punches and kicks now. He shoots and hits the double leg; Lawler is down against the fence. The crowd grows restless as MacDonald is slow on the offense. Lawler tries to get to his feet, but MacDonald is all over him. MacDonald is controlling the position, but Lawler lands a few hard shots from the bottom. MacDonald opens up with elbows and punches to end the round. Round 3: Lawler cracks MacDonald with a pair of hard shots that look to have him hurt. Lawler tries a knee but opens himself up for the takedown. MacDonald holding position again; the ref restarts them on their feet. Lawler tags MacDonald again with a hard right. MacDonald shoots and Lawler scrambles out, making him pay with more punches. Lawler takes top position, but MacDonald ties him up. Lawler beckons him to their feet. MacDonald bloodied up. Lawler puts together more hard punches. MacDonald complains of a poke, but they restart in short order. MacDonald shoots, but Lawler keeps to his feet. He drops MacDonald with a right and follows him down to side control. Lawler is taking to MscDonald here. Lawler holding top position and sneaking in a few shots here and there. MacDonald threatens the armbar and Lawler lets him up. Rashad Evans vs. Chael Sonnen

Round 1: No glove touch between these two. Sonnen comes out hard early and shoots for the takedown. Evans stuffs him and Sonnen presses him against the cage. Evans turns Sonnen into the cage. Evans drops for a takedown of his own and Sonnen defends. Evans cracks Sonnen with a right as he breaks. Both men throwing hands against the fence. Evans reengages the clinch. Evans hits a double leg and has Sonnen against the cage in half guard. Sonnen trying to better his position, but Evans is holding onto top position and landing ground and pound. Sonnen gives up his back after Evans lands a hard elbow. Evans is turning it up, wailing on Sonnen. He takes full mount with over a minute to go. Sonnen goes belly down and Evans goes to work from back mount. He pounds on Sonnen ruthlessly until the ref has to pull him off.

Georges St-Pierre vs. Johny Hendricks

Round 1: They touch gloves to kick off the first round. Hendricks whiffs on a right hand and St-Pierre easily plants him on the mat. St-Pierre threatens with a guillotine, but Hendricks gets to his feet. They work from the clinch; Hendricks works St-Pierre to the cage. The ref separates them. Hendricks connects with an uppercut when they restart as St-Pierre shoots in. Hendricks stuffs the takedown and lands hard punches and elbows while continuing to defend. Hendricks kneeing the thigh as he presses St-Pierre against the cage. Hendricks gets the takedown. St-Pierre works to his feet but takes a few punches on the way. Hendricks lands a solid knee. St-Pierre answers with a leg kick. St-Pierre keeping Hendricks honest with glancing shots. They trade knees from the clinch. St-Pierre flicking out kicks repeatedly. Round 2: They touch gloves again. St-Pierre working kicks early and often. Hendricks tags him with a straight left and backs him up. Hendricks swinging hard; St-Pierre's face showing damage. Round 3: St-Pierre clearly the more damaged of the two fighters as they touch gloves for the third. Hendricks with a right hook. St-Pierre lands a hard inside leg kick and follows with punches. Hendricks answers with a hard knee. Hendricks goes to the body. Hendricks is moving noticeably slower, but he's still threatening with punches. St-Pierre putting his hands on Hendricks more often now. He lands a good left as Hendricks pushes in. Hendricks sneaks in an uppercut as St-Pierre works the outside. St-Pierre the fresher of the two fighters, he's putting together some crisp combos. Hendricks firing back with power shots. Hendricks lands the left hand, but it doesn't have the same zip as earlier in the fight. Hendricks shoots for the takedown and presses St-Pierre into the cage. Round 4: They touch gloves again for the start of the championship rounds. St-Pierre still looking fresher; Hendricks misses on a few big punches. Round 5: They touch gloves, Hendricks looking relaxed. St-Pierre working the takedown hard, but Hendricks is defending and showing great balance by landing hard shots while doing so. St-Pierre looking for a kimura, but Hendricks threatens by grabbing his arm. St-Pierre lands a nice kick to the body and then hits a takedown with three minutes left. The ref separates them as they work the clinch. St-Pierre with a front kick. St-Pierre looking for the head kick. Just over a minute to go. St-Pierre shoots for the takedown; Hendricks defends well. St-Pierre gets him down briefly, but Hendricks is right back up. Hendricks turns St-Pierre into the cage with under twenty seconds to go. St-Pierre looking for the kimura, but he can't seal the deal.
