WWE Asked About SmackDown Staying On Fridays, Hornswoggle Celebrating 8 Years With WWE

- Hornswoggle is celebrating 8 years with WWE today. He tweeted the following:

"8 years ago today I debuted @wwe . I think since then I have proven I'm not just some circus act, keep that in mind @WWEElTorito ! #thankyou"

- We noted before that WWE was open to taking SmackDown live on Tuesday nights to sweeten the package they were offering various network during negotiations earlier this year. This was confirmed by Variety. WWE was asked if the show will remain on Friday nights, since live sports is considered a premium for TV networks, and their only response was that the show currently airs on Friday.
