FOX has released a quick video preview for the season, which you can view in the player above. UFC lightweight champion Anthony Pettis and contender Gilbert Melendez are the coaches.

- Currently, the UFC is not allowed to hold events in New York due to law. However, light heavyweight champion Jon Jones has the perfect main event should that change.

Jones feels a fight with fellow champion Chris Weidman would make for the ideal headline act inside Madison Square Garden. Both are New York-born, as Weidman is the middleweight champion.

"Oh man, I think that would be awesome," said Jones, during an interview with Sherdog. "I would absolutely jump at the opportunity to have a super-fight with Chris Weidman. I respect him a lot as a person and as a champion, and I think that fight would make great sales."

Jones will face Daniel Cormier in September at UFC 178, while Weidman is set to meet Vitor Belfort in December.

- War Machine, who was released from his Bellator contract recently after a serious altercation with Christy Mack, continues to try and explain himself via Twitter. Jon Koppenhaver is currently being sought on several chargers stemming from an incident involving Mack that left her in the hospital.

"I'm not a bad guy, I went to surprise my gf, help her set up her show and to give her an engagement ring and ended up fighting for my life," War Machine posted on Twitter. "The cops will never give me fair play, never believe me. Still deciding what to do but at the end of the day it's all just heart breaking. I only wish that man hadn't been there and that Christy & I would be happily engaged. I don't know y I'm so cursed. One day truth will come out."

Koppenhaver spent time in jail on a previous assault charge and has had several prior run-ins with the law. Mack, a porn star, posted a message with graphic photos of the damage she says War Machine did to her on her Twitter page, which you can check out below:
