Will Ferrell Talks Getting Heat For Taryn Terrell Scene, Latest "I'm With Spud," Xplosion Match

- As noted earlier, TNA Knockout Taryn Terrell will be playing a cheerleader who gets nailed in the face by a basketball (which was actually a Nerf-style soft ball) from Will Ferrell during a Lakers – Pelicans NBA game in the upcoming movie Daddy's Home. Ferrell spoke to Yahoo! Movies and noted that the scene got him some heat from people who thought that it was using violence against women as humor, and others who thought the stunt was real.

"People were saying I should be sued," Ferrell said. "Or even people who knew it was part of the movie, they were like, 'Why did he use a real basketball?'"
