Another Report For Last Night's WWE Live Event In Salt Lake City: Randy Orton Returns, Daniel Bryan

Thanks to WrestlingINC.com reader Ferret Rellim for sending in these results for yesterday's WWE live event in Salt Lake City, UT:

WWE Intercontinental Championship: Bad News Barrett Vs. Dolph Ziggler

Barrett cut a promo on his way to the ring. He talked about BNZ and how since Ziggler just got hired back, hes still a "new guy", and as far as he's concerned "new guys don't get title shots. They earn them."

Great back and forth between the two to start it. Ziggler quickly found his spot in the comfortable role of underdog. Barrett stayed on top for the majority of the match until Ziggler made a comeback which culminated with a Zig-Zag, a big pop, and a win. After the match Ziggler went for the IC belt and appeared confused that he hadn't become the new champ. Barrett runs away, and Ziggler poses for the crowd.

Winner: Dolph Ziggler

The Ascension Vs. Sami Zayn & Adrian Neville

The Ascension got a rather weak reaction from the crowd. Not much heat, just indifference. Sami Zayn garnered a larger reaction than I expected from this crowd. Not many seemed to be as familiar with Neville, he received a mild reaction on entrance.

This match was held together by the action Zayn and Neville produced. Delivering their unique and action packed flurries to get the crowd excited. Once the crowd saw what Neville had to offer they quickly got behind him. Zayn had the most crowd support here and found himself getting a few "ole" chants. Neville closed it out with the Red Arrow and the pin for the team. By the end, fans were fully behind Neville.

Winners: Sami Zayn & Adrian Neville

Adam Rose Vs. Darren Young

Adam came out with a slim group of Rosebuds to mild heat. Darren Young came out to the smallest reaction of the afternoon. The entrances were longer than the match as Young won with a quick roll up.

Winner: Darren Young

Angry, Rose grabbed the mic and insisted he wasn't ready. Then demanding to bring another superstar out for him. Ryback.s music hit to one of the biggest pops of the afternoon.

Adam Rose vs. Ryback

Ryback came out to roars of "feed me more" and tons of energy. With a meat hook and a shell shock, Rose was defeated, again. Ryback received one of the best reactions of the night. I think lots were genuinely surprised to see him there. It felt like a nice surprise that paid off in reaction and excitement.

Winner: Ryback

Earlier in the show the crowd was asked to vote on a divas single match, or a tag team divas match. The tag team divas match won.

Emma & Naomi Vs. Cameron & Summer Rae

The crowd seemed to be most familiar with Naomi and gave her the best reaction. However, that's not saying much as the match was pretty dead on arrival as far as it seems the crowd was concerned.

Emma was the victim of trade-off beatings from both Cameron and Summer. With a few spats to attempt to get the tag to Naomi. Naomi eventually got the hot tag and quickly ended the match with a Rear View.

Winners: Emma & Naomi

Kane Vs. Randy Orton

Randy Orton came out to a HUGE pop, very much garnering a babyface reaction and I feel an excitement to see him again. The crowd roared every time Orton was on top in this one. Kane showed little offense and looked to be being fed to Orton. The match didn't last too long and saw a pretty lopsided match end by Orton delivering an RKO.

After the match Randy sucked in the admiration and had fun with the crowd by veeery slowly climbing the turnbuckles to pose for the crowd. Orton received a big backing from the crowd. The match was short and one sided but the crowd seemed to just be happy to see the Viper back at it.

Intermission

Sin Cara Vs. Bo Dallas

After intermission we got treated with another superstar return, the BO-liever himself. Both superstars received rather loud reactions, respectively. Sin Cara the babyface treatment, and Bo the heel. By reaction it seemed the crowd had not forgotten Bo. Bo entered with a microphone in hand and cut a promo about returning from "a serious big toe injury." In proper fashion he played up the severity of his big toe injury and of course spoke of bolieveing.

The match saw great participation from the crowd. Both superstars played their roles well and kept us all into the story they were telling. Sin Cara dealt out most of the offense. Bo prematurely gave himself congratulations and offered handshakes to Sin Cara. When it came down to it, Sin Cara walked away with the victory after a swanton from the top to send the boliever home.

Winner: Sin Cara

Goldust & Stardust Vs. Tyson Kidd & Cesaro

This was one of the best matches of the night. I'm sure this comes as no surprise to those familiar with the men involved. Both teams had a great understanding of how to give the crowd something to bite into.

Goldust and Stardust came out to a great pop. Stardust grabbed a microphone gave a promo ensuring that he and Goldust were very much okay as a team, contrary to rumors going around. They then offered a box of free stuff to the loudest section. After a few spins and roars of each section, Kidd and Cesaro interrupted. Kidd said how pathetic the crowd was for getting excited over free stuff. Cesaro then took over and mentioned they were about to show why they are "going to become tag team champions at Fast Lane."

The match was great wrestling by all involved. Rather balanced match throughout most. Stardust had the most ring time of any involved. Cesaro and Kidd continued to show why they are one of the stronger teams in WWE right now. Working some unique double team moves in while dismantling Stardust. Stardust eventually gets the hot tag on Goldust who runs in to leave everyone lying. After a short burst of action between all involved Stardust went to bounce of the ropes and give Kidd a good kick and end things, but Kidd moved and Stardust ended up catching Goldust. Kidd got the cover and the win.

After the match Stardust was visibly upset and disappointed with a broken Goldust. Stardust slapped Goldust on the head multiple times and just left him broken, lying in the ring.

Winners: Tyson Kidd & Cesaro

Main Event: Daniel Bryan Vs. Seth Rollins

Rollins came out to by far the most heat of the night. The guy carries great heat. He cut a promo in he ring about being the future of the WWE and that tonight's match stipulation had been changed. That due to the nature of the ending of their match on RAW, that the winner of this match would go onto Fast Lane to face Reigns. Bryan came out to and electric response. An arena of people that had been itching to scream and chant "Yes!"

The match started with Rollins playing classic heel and refusing to tie up with Bryan, dodging in and out of the ring. After eventually tying up we saw a couple of great sequences by these two. Fast paced, and back and forth. Bryan got on top after a bit, but didn't remain there long. After a few cunning moves by Rollins, he found himself preying on Bryan. The action spilled out of the ring on a few occasions and both men looked in top form. These men made it very obvious why they are at the top of a card. From the action they put on, to the art that resides in their knowledge of crowd presence.

After a beating from a gloating Rollins, Bryan made a comeback and found himself getting his hand raised after a running knee and a successful pin to send the crowd home happy.

These men, not surprisingly, easily had the match of the night.

Winner: Daniel Bryan
